1. How do I place an order?
    • Browse through our online store and add the products you wish to purchase to shopping cart. Once ready for payment, click on the Shopping Cart then Proceed to Payment.
    • Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have placed an order online and have not received an email, please call our customer service numbers or send an email to contactscm@shalomrb.org .
    2. How will the items be delivered to me?
      • If you live in Singapore, you can decide to collect the books from our premises. This way, you will not incur any delivery charges.
      • A $5.00 delivery charge will be levied for all local deliveries.
      • We will contact you to arrange for deliveries which will be done in 3 to 5 working days. Kindly understand that there will be additional charges for re-deliveries in the event the first delivery was not successful because there was no one present to receive the items
      • This ministry is primarily to serve those living in Singapore. As such, we have not designed a fixed process for overseas delivery. If you live overseas, and would like to purchase a book, please contact us via email (contactscm@shalomrb.org) to discuss payment and delivery arrangements. Delivery charges will depend on which country the books are to be shipped to and the mode adopted. Alternatively, we could direct you to local ministries in your country who could potentially support you better.
      3. What are the payment modes accepted?
        • As we are operating a not-for-profit ministry, we have adopted Paynow as the payment mode. Paynow helps us lower our operating costs and is the only free digital payment mode available in Singapore.
        • If you live overseas, please contact us via email (contactscm@shalomrb.org) to discuss the most efficient way in which you can make payment.
        4. What are your operating hours?
          • Monday – Saturday, by pre-appointment only
          • Closed on Sunday & Public Holidays

          If you are visiting us at the bookroom, kindly observe the following safety measures (this to also fulfill Matt. 22: 39!):

          • SafeEntry QR scan is a must
          • Temperature will be taken (note: 37.5 & above will be turned away)
          • Hands to be sanitized before entry
          • Mask-on throughout your visit
          • Safe distancing to be observed
          • Cashless payment via PayNow
          • 5 pax allowable in the bookroom at any one time
          5. Can I be certain that I will get the best prices for the books?
            • As mentioned in FAQ question 3, we are operating a not-for-profit ministry. Our purpose is not to compete with other book ministries but to promote the reading of truth through a curated set of books.
            • There are many factors that determine book prices, eg. Order quantity from publisher, shipping costs, exchange rate fluctuations, operating costs, etc. As such, we do not guarantee best prices for our books.
            • Our books are tagged at reasonable and affordable prices. Furthermore, special groups e.g. pastors, full-time leaders and students are subsidized. Others who genuinely need but cannot afford our materials can upon request, be considered for subsidy.
            6. Can I seek your help to order a book not found in your store?
              This will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to whether the author(s) and/publisher(s) are aligned with our doctrinal beliefs. Please contact us via the following channels for a discussion:

              7. I notice that most of the books are available in soft covers. Do you carry any hard cover copies of the titles?

                We usually carry soft cover copies of the titles because they cost less. If you would like the hard cover edition, we can assist with such orders at our next shipment. Kindly reach out to us for such requirements.

                8. I placed an order but will probably not be home during the indicated delivery date/time. What should I do?
                  Kindly call or send us an email indicating your order number so that we can discuss alternative delivery times with you.
                  9. What is your refund policy?
                  Damaged, defective or incorrect item delivered
                  Please inspect your order upon receipt. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the incorrect item. This will help us identify the issue and address it immediately.
                  Exchanges
                  Items ordered on this website which have been delivered cannot be returned or exchanged. In the event a damaged item was delivered to you, we will replace at our cost.
