Henry Law was born at Kelshall rectory in Hertfordshire, 1797.Law was educated at Eton College and St John’s College, Cambridge, where he became fellow in 1821. Later that year he was ordained. Dean of Gloucester in the eighteenth century and an influential figure in the evangelical party of the Church of England. The Trust publishes his Daily Prayer and Praise (devotions on the Psalms) in two volumes; out of print are his The Gospel in Genesis, and The Gospel in Exodus.
