What Can I Do with My Guilt?
If you say “nobody’s perfect,” likely everyone will agree with you. Feelings of guilt over sin are common. A person may ignore their sense of guilt, rationalize it, or suppress it, but it is there. It points to the fact that all people are objectively guilty before God.
So, what do we do with our guilt? In this booklet, Dr. R.C. Sproul shows how God can use these feelings to reveal our true guilt. Dr. Sproul then points to the only remedy—the forgiveness that God provides through Jesus Christ.

'Guilt is a major issue for the human race, despite culture's best efforts to say that we have nothing to feel guilty about. In this booklet, R.C. Sproul talks about this taboo subject with honesty and clarity, using his great knowledge to explain this issue using simple, clear language that anybody can understand.
Sproul explains not only how every single human being on the planet has guilt, but also how people typically try to deal with this negative feeling. Many people try to deny it, both to themselves and other people. If it doesn't exist, we don't have to deal with it. But the guilt remains. So the next step is trying to rationalize our behavior to ourselves to see ourselves in a better light. And other people know about their guilt, do nothing about it, and simply hope that God will simply sweep it under the rug. Then, when all hope seems lost, he brings up the real way that guilt should be handled: confession to God, and then God's amazing reaction of forgiveness.
This is an excellent addition to the Crucial Questions Series. We all have to deal with the guilt of breaking God's law, and even many Christians don't know how to deal with that particular part of the human experience. I would recommend this book to anybody who has questions about their own guilt in the eyes of God, which would be almost anybody. I would also recommend this book if you need a refresher, as everybody does sometimes. Great booklet.' Cassie
