This book is an excellent primer for Christians to begin studying basic theology. Ferguson touches upon most of the important doctrinal themes in an easy-to-understand, easy-to-follow approach. His perspective is definitely Reformed but the content would still be beneficial to all Protestants and evangelicals. My only complaint with this work is that there are no study questions provided. Had there been, I would have used it as a discussion guide for church training. If you’re looking for a Biblically-solid primer on Christian doctrine, I highly recommend it! David Bess
