The Shadow of Christ in the Book of Job
With the heart of a pastor and the skill of a scholar, C. J. Williams shows how the ancient book of Job reveals our Savior, Jesus Christ. He demonstrates that Job's sufferings foreshadow the suffering and exaltation of our Savior, in whom we have a sure hope. In Job, we find that the hardships of life are a call to humble ourselves, worship, and draw near to the Savior who suffered for us. As we put our trust in him, we discover that the sufferings of this life cannot be compared to the glory that God has in store for us.

______________
‘The Shadow of Christ in the Book of Job is a wonderful meditation on the suffering and exaltation of Jesus Christ as prefigured by Job. Williams convincingly makes the case that Job is a type of Christ and brings helpful clarity to the ancient poetry. He also makes illuminating connections to other Old Testament prophecies of Christ. The book was a great encouragement.’ Jeffrey Jones
